The UL Listing Mark on an industrial control panel provides evidence to satisfy the increasing number of inspection authorities requiring third-party safety certification and your customer demanding the same. The UL Listing Mark may be applied to a wide variety of designs, ranging from one-of-a-kind panels to standardized designs with only minor variations.
UL 508A includes requirements covering industrial control panel enclosures and industrial control panels for general use, as well as specific use panels for industrial machinery, air conditioning and refrigeration, crane control, elevator control, flame control and use as service equipment. Open Industrial Control Panels
An industrial control panel that includes factory wiring, field wiring terminals and components mounted on a sub-panel without a complete enclosure. The enclosure is intended to be supplied/completed at the installation.
